Ravishing Clothing for Women LTD. was opened Fall of 2006 by owner, Kim Stranden.

    Ravishing Clothing is located in downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on Third Avenue North, just

across from the Sturdy Stone Building, and right next door to Creative Compliments. In 2006, Kim just

finished her degree from the University of Saskatchewan and was working at a local radio station selling

advertising. When Kim was asked why she went into business for herself she stated "I was meeting all of these

amazing business people and thought that I could also be a business owner." It was not until Valentine's Day

2006 that Kim decided that she was going to open up her own clothing store. "I went to the mall to buy a dress

for Valentine's Day and there was nothing that would fit!! I was so upset I ended up buying a dress that was to

small. When I saw the photos of me wearing that dress I felt horrible, I looked terrible!" Ravishing Clothing was

born because Kim was tried of wearing something because it fit not because she liked it. "Why do women have to

settle on outfits? It is not fair, more than half of women wear sizes 14 or larger but the market doesn't reflect

this."

   Because we are a smaller company than major retail chains, we have the freedom to select only the best cutting

edge and current fashions. We don't carry anything that is out of date or of lower quality. We believe that every

woman deserves to look her best! Our unique line of apparel and accessories come from designers worldwide and

most of the lines are from Canada. We insist that our designers and tailors use only the finest eco-friendly

materials that allow you to show-off your inimitable style with a clear-conscience. Our small staff ensures that you

will be treated with the utmost respect and care any time you contact customer service. To us, every customer

counts!  When you call Ravishing Clothing you will be talking to Kim or her mom Pat.  Kim will make sure that what

ever you purchase will work for your body shape. "I try on everything in the store and see's what works and what

doesn't.  I am not going to sell you something that I know is going to look terrible, if any of my customers have

any questions they can call during store hours and I will be more than happy to help them."

    Ravishing Clothing opened September 30th, 2006 and in March of 2008 the upstairs area was renovated to

house all of the formal dresses. "It is really nice upstairs, you have your own change room and there is seating for
your friends and family that you bring along."

    Kim works in the store six days a week and gets help from her mom Pat. Ravishing Clothing is a small

independent boutique in the heart of downtown Saskatoon. "I do just about anything for my customers, I work on

their hours and if they can not make it during the day I will be here in the evening or on Sunday, I have delivered

dresses to peoples doors and met some customers at the airport during a lay over."
